Growing up, Dr. Jean always knew that he wanted to improve people’s lives through healthcare. Since his father was a family doctor, Dr. Jean watched as he made genuine connections with his patients and helped them live happy, healthy lives. During college, Dr. Jean began volunteering at NYU’s dental clinic, and it was there that he found his calling.
After earning his BA in Music at NYU, Dr. Jean attended dental school at Howard University College of Dentistry. He then completed his General Practice Residency at Erie County Medical Center.
Now that Dr. Jean has a practice of his own, he feels honored to deliver a patient-centered experience in a warm, comfortable dental office. Dr. Jean always takes extra steps to make patients comfortable in the dental setting, and he takes a communicative approach to help you understand every aspect of your treatment.

Dr. Pamela Ortiz was born in Puerto Rico. As a child she moved to the United States with her family only to return to her native Puerto Rico at the age of 9. From a young age, Dr. Ortiz was involved in serving her local community. Her grandfather would sponsor annual holiday events where she would help by distributing gifts to families in need. She spent most of her free time helping customers at her grandfather’s supermarket or at his farm caring for the animals.
Dr. Ortiz obtained her dental degree from Howard University College of Dentistry where she consistently made the Dean’s List, ranked among the top her of class, and was awarded the Department of Orthodontics Award. During dental school Dr. Ortiz was a member of the National Children’s Oral Health Foundation; an organization dedicated to educating parents and children in underserved communities about oral health and preventive services.
Upon graduation she attended the orthodontic residency program at The State University of New York at Buffalo where she obtained her Masters degree and specialty training. She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics and her master thesis was displayed at the 2017 American Association of Orthodontics Annual Session held in San Diego.
As a college student, Dr. Ortiz worked at her father’s orthodontic practice. While there, she witnessed first-hand the positive impact a smile can have on a person and discovered her passion for orthodontics. She believes in a patient-first approach and remains committed to listening to her patients, then helping them achieve solutions that will address their concerns.
Say hello to Laura, our Patient Coordinator! After earning her Sociology degree from Florida Atlantic University, Laura dove into the dental world and has spent the last 8 years serving smiles. As a bright, creative member of our team, Laura loves interacting with patients and seeing them leave our doors with something to smile about. Laura is extremely proud of her two hard working college kiddos and enjoys spending as much quality time with them as possible. Laura can’t wait to meet you and your smile soon!
Meet Jackie, one of our amazing Dental Assistants! With over 22 years of experience in the dental field, Jackie has what it takes to keep smiles thriving for years to come. Growing up in New Jersey with strong Cuban roots, Jackie began her career in dentistry by obtaining her dental assistant degree at Robert Morgan Technical School. Jackie enjoys seeing how even the slightest transformation can improve the smiles and lives of her patients! When she’s not polishing grins, you can find Jackie walking by the beach, shopping, roller skating, and salsa dancing.
With her laser-focused attention to detail and compassionate personality, Janaína serves our patient’s smiles with precision and expertise. Hailing from Brazil, Janaína earned her dental hygiene degree from São Paulo Santo Amoro University and has spent the last 20 years enhancing smiles. Janaína loves to help people of all backgrounds feel and look their best! When she’s not at the office, you’ll find Janaína spending time with her family, going to the gym, watching movies, dancing, or hitting up the beach for an afternoon in the sun.
